Roasting in the oven
Roaeting with the Roeet Prebe
In the combt-oven (H 818. H 866)
UsihQ the Roest Probe enabtes the
roasting process to be monitoied
simply and reliabty. The
oi the
probe measures the core temperature
at the centre ot the meat conttnuousiy,
and when the pre-selected core tem¬
perature is reached, the oven heaUng
Is automatically switched oti. Use ot
the 'Fan + Automatic' setling is
recommended with this feature. (Roof
and Floor heating or Fan couU be
used but are less appropriate).
1. Prepare the meat In the usual man¬
ner, and put it Into the oven, (in a pot
or on the reclr). RoestlnQ bags or alu¬
minium loll may also be used, but only
when left open at the ends.
2. Insert the Probe Into the middle of
the meet Ensure that It does rrot touch
a bone, and that It is not Inserted into 8
fatty piece of meat.
II fat or bona come into contact with
the Probe, this can lead to the oven
being switched off too earty.
When roasting poultry the best piece
to insert the Probe Is the thickest part
between thigh and body.
• Soefcet for Roeat Probe
The socket lor the Roast Probe plug is
in the right hand wall of the combi-
oven nterior.
3 Insert the Probe Into the socket
open the Cdw and push in the Probe
u^ it is feH to er>gage. Otherwise
there Is no conr>ection to the timer
urvt ar>d the termperature cannot be
selecled.
4. Close the oven door.
