Setting the clock/calendar
(A) Press Set clock (UHR STELLEN) button 12.
Display 1 shows 'UHR'.
e@ Use the Up + and/or Down — buttons 2 and 3 to set the
correct time.
(Pressing either of these buttons once alters the time slowly;
keeping either button pressed changes the time quickly.)
The time is shown in 24-hour form; for example, nine minutes
past five in the afternoon is shown as '17:09'.

The Display shows 'JAHR'.

The clock/calendar is now set and will remain accurate even if the
video recorderis disconnected from the mains supply for up to 3
months.

Tuning the TV set to the video recorder
Important!
If the TV set and the video recorder are connected via their
Euroconnectors only, select the AV input on your TV set (see the
Operating Instructions of the TV set) and proceed to 'Searching
for and storing TV stations'.

e@ Your video recorder is equipped with a modulator. In order to
receive the video recorder signal, you have to tune the TV set to:

picture). This might be the case when that paeuler) TV station is
broadcasting around channel 37 UHF.

© Turn, with a small screwdriver, the 30-39.channel adjuster 30°
on.the rear of the video'recorder (to the left or the nah) Baul Ane
TV station is received-properly..

Attention: There should be NO cassette in thee cassette holder..

© Most modern TV sets have a number.of pre-selector buttons
(or pre-selector numbers) used to select'TV stations. One of
these pre-selectors should be reserved for the video recorder
signal; refer to.the TV Operating Instructions to determine which
pre-selector button or number to choose..

shows a picture-which has this black and white pattern:

Note:
if your TV set has auto search tuning, you now have to store this
channel on the chosen pre-selector number (see the TV
Operating Instructions).
