Note:
The video recorder automatically enters the stop mode after 8:
minutes in either pause or still mode to avoid tape wear.
Example:
- Press Pause/Still picture (PAUSE/STANDBILD) Bll button from
the play mode.
The Display shows 'STND' and a still picture from the tape is
shown on the TV screen together with the OSD information
"STANDBILD' (still).
If a recording with a clean continuation is wanted from this point,
proceed as follows:
- Press Record (AUFNAHME)
@ button 13.
The Display shows 'PSE' and the TV screen shows 'PAUSE'.
- Select the required programme number (or indication 'E' for
Euroconnector input). On the TV the picture from a TV broadcast
(or another video recorder via Euroconnector) is shown.
(You can select 'E' by pressing + button 2 after programme
number '48' appears or pressing — button 3 after programme
number '1' appears or pressing button -@ on the remote
control.)

@ button 13 again to start the
recording.
19 Wind/Picture search forward (VORLAUF) >>/@)
@ Press this button from the stop mode to wind the cassette
forwards at high speed (without picture or sound from the tape).
The Display shows 'VOR' and the TV screen shows:

@ Press this button from the play or record mode to play the
cassette forwards at high speed or to quickly find a particular
scene. It is quite normal for some bars of 'noise' to be visible on
the picture.
(During this mode the sound is reduced.)

Press this button to stop the tape movement.

When this button is pressed, the cassette is played back.
The Display shows 'WIED'.and the TV screen shows:

(If no cassette is loaded, the Display shows 'TEST', and the
black-and-white test pattern is shown on the TV set.)
