Note:
To reset the tape counter to '0' you have to press Reset
(RUCKST.) button 10 (e.g. during playback) at the desired tape
position.
10 Reset (RUCKST.) If a tape counter value is shown, pressing
this button resets it to '0'.
When setting the clock/calendar, pressing this button resets the
time to 20:00.
When programming a recording, pressing this button resets the
start and/or stop time to 20:00, the date to the present date or
switches the VPS control on or off.
This button is also used to.cancel a 'recording block' during
programming. First select the block to be cancelled, using the Up
+ and/or Down — buttons 2 and 3 or the digit buttons on the
remote control.
11 Tracking
Press this button if the piehare is affected by disturbances during
play functions.
This function can be.stopped at any time by pressing Play
(WIEDERGABE) > button 21.
(During this mode the sound is muted.)
12 Set clock (UHR STELLEN)
Press this button to set the clock/calendar.

13 Record (AUFNAHME) @
Press this button to start a recording.
The Display shows 'AUFN' and the TV screen shows:
@ AUFNAHME

On the Display the channel/programme number flashes for a few
seconds to remind you to check that it is the correct TV station
for recording.
See Sections 4 and 5 for detailed information.
14 Fast motion (ZEITRAFFER)
When this button is pressed, the picture will be played back at 3
times the normal speed.
(During this mode the sound is muted. )
The Display shows 'SCHN' and the TV screen shows:

15.Slow motion (ZEITLUPE)
Press this button to play back the tape in slow motion.
The Display shows 'LGS' and the TV screen shows:
{> ZEITLUPE
16 OTR (STOPZEIT) 4
With this button you can make a Saé Touch Recording which
starts immediately and stops at a chosen time in 30 minute steps.
See Section 4 for more information.
17 Delayed OTR (STARTZEIT)
With this button you can make a One Touch Recording but sa
can choose the start time (delay time) yourself.

18 Pause/Still picture (PAUSE/STANDBILD) Hi. :
@ When this button is pressed during playback, a still picture is
shown. Each time you press this-button, the tape advances a few
frames at normal speed and a new still picture is shown ('frame
advance').
The Display shows 'STND' and the TV screen shows:
wm STANDBILD
@ If this button is pressed continuously, the tape is played back
in super slow motion.
The Display shows 'LGS' and the TV screen shows:
\> ZEITLUPE
Note:
If the still picture 'bounces', keep Tracking button 11 pressed
until this effect is eliminated.
@ When button Ellis pressed during a recording, the tape
movement stops temporarily.
The Display shows 'PSE' and the TV screen shows:

If you later continue recording (within 8 minutes), you will get a
clean continuation or 'automatic assembly'.
