When charging the high-voltage battery, keep a
distance of at least an arm's length between the
medical aid and the following components:
the power supply equipment

wallbox or a public charging point, for exam-

charging control box, for example.
Only have repairs and maintenance work in the
area of the following components carried out at a
qualified specialist workshop:

QR code for rescue card

QR codes are attached in the fuel filler flap and on
the opposite side on the B-pillar. In the event of
an accident, rescue services can use the QR code
to quickly find the appropriate rescue card for
your vehicle. The current rescue card contains the
most important information about your vehicle
(e.g. the routing of the electric lines) in compact
form.

Data storage

Data processing in the vehicle
Electronic control units
Electronic control units are fitted in your vehicle.
Control units process data they receive from vehi-
cle sensors, forexample, generate themselves or
exchange between themselves. Some control
units are required for the safe operation of your
vehicle. For example, some assist you when driv-
ing, suchas driver assistance systems, while oth-
ers enable convenience or infotainment functions.
The following provides you with general informa-
tion regarding data processing in the vehicle.
Additional information regarding which data in
your vehicle are collected, saved and transmitted
to third parties and for what purpose can be
found in the information directly related to the
functional characteristics in question in their
respective Owner's Manual. This information is
available online and digitally, depending on the
vehicle's equipment.
