HITS (Hyper Intelligent Tuning System)
You can use the HITS function in the following three situations.
DIRECT
ACCESS
STATION CALL
HITS
@ When inputting frequency numbers for DIRECT ACCESS TUNING:
* If the HITS button is pressed during input of numbers for DIRECT
ACCESS tuning, the receiver sets the remaining digits which have
not yet been input to ''0'', searches for the corresponding frequencies,
and stops on the first station it finds.
@ During frequency display:
¢ {lf the HITS button is pressed at the currently displayed station
frequency, the receiver searches up and down the frequency for the
next station and stops at the first one it finds.

+1 MHz
@® When inputting a station name:
If the HITS button is pressed during station call-letter input and the
receiver performs a memory search for other stations in the STATION
CALL
memory
which
begin with the same
letter(s) (one to four
characters) as those you have input (starting from the left). (Each is
tuned in for approximately 5 seconds. Press the HITS button to cancel.)
OPERATING THE AUDIO COMPONENTS
Press the POWER switch to the ON position, and turn on the power
to the other audio components you wish to use.
