— SFC (Sound Field Control) surround
Besides DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND, this unit is equipped with DSP
that provides five different SFC surround modes. You can control the
SETTING
THE
EFFECT
LEVEL
evel of the surround effect with the JOG dial.
1. Select one of the SURROUND MODE buttons.
* The selected surround mode indicator lights in the display section.
LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
2. Adjust the total effect to your desired level with the JOG dial.
* A numerical display from 5 to 100 of the effect level is shown
in the display section. For the most enjoyabie sound, the best
position is usually about 55.
1. Press the remote control TEST TONE button to switch the test tone
ON.
2. Adjust so that the volume ievel is the same from each of the
speakers.
NOTE:
* Adjust front speaker balance with the receiver balance buttons.
Tone controls do not operate in THEATER mode.
* For the rear speakers, set the remote control Level/Balance select
switch to the REAR (REAR BAL) position, and adjust the balance
with the L, R buttons, and the level with the +, — buttons.
3. Press the remote control TEST TONE button to switch the test tone
OFF.

Adjust the sound using the BASS and TREBLE control buttons (+, -).

When you have continued to press the BASS " +"' button.
* Levels are indicated by the Level/Tone meter in the display section.
Rear and center channel tone controls are not possible.
