Using an optional timer, you can automatically start playback at a preset time.

Set the POWER switch of the VTR to ON.

Set the playback start and stop times with the timer.
For details, refer to the operation manual provided with the timer.
3 Set the TIMER switch to PLAY.
The timer automatically turns on the VTR power at the playback start time.
To stop playback during timer playback
Press the STOP button of the VTR.
© The VTR automatically rewinds the tape then stops. If, however, you set repeat
playback between a particular point and the tape end, the VTR automatically
rewinds the tape, enters repeat playback mode and starts playback repeatedly
upon reaching the tape end.
© When the playback stop time is reached, the timer turns off the VTR power with
the tape wound around the head drum. At the next playback start time, the timer
again automatically tums on the VTR power. The tape stops momentarily, then
timer playback starts.
