Press to activate the shuttle dial [5] The lamp
will light.

With the CTL/MENU switch [8] set to MENU,
press this button to set the data item selected

REC(recording) button/lamp
For recording, press the PLAY button [24] while
holding down the REC button, The lamp will
light during recording.
[21] DUB(audio dubbing) button/iamp
To add sound to a tape on which a video signal
has been previously recorded, press the PLAY
button [24] while holding down the DUB button.
The sound will be recorded onto a normal audio
channel set with the menu (channel-1, channel-
2, or channel-1 and channel-2). The lamp lights
during recording.
22, PAUSE button/lamp
Press to stop the tape momentarily. The lamp
lights while the VTR is in STOP mode.
To restart the tape, press the PAUSE button
again.

Press to fast-forward the tape. The lamp lights

Press to play back the tape. Pressing this button
while holding down the REC button (20) starts
recording. The lamp lights.

Press to rewind the tape. The lamp lights while
the VTR is rewinding the tape.
26} STOP button
Press to completely stop the tape transport.
27| EJECT button
Press to eject the cassette.
