Taking the new front panel,place the front door
in
its tracks on the front panel, and place the new front
panel on the rail pins
(see
Figure 5-11 ).

After upending the disk
drive,
using a Phillips screwdriver, reinstall the two (2) mounting screws that
attach the front panel to the chassis
(see
Figure 5-13).

Push the Activity LED Assembly into its grommet.

The Activity LED Assembly usually makes a clicking noise when it is
firmly pushed
into
the LED grommet.

Install two

new bushings on the right-hand and the left-hand front sides of the front panel (see
Figure 5-11 ).

Put a small drop of glue (Permabond, Superglue, or other cyanoacrylic adhesive) on top of each
bushing.
