How to Clear Text
i. How to Change Line Format

Press the TEXT IN/OUT
Key and input the name
of the file whose contents
are to be cleared.
Press the <x] Key while
pressing the CODE Key.
The
following
message
appears on the LCD Dis-
play. (Check whether the
contents are to be cleared
or not.)

(Display applies when file
" L E T T E R 1 "
has
been
selected.)

EXPRESS
To store a new line for-
mat, first set the left and
right margins, tabs and
printing pitch with the
TPWR Mode.
Press the RELOC. EX-
PRESS Key while press-
ing the CODE Key in the
Text
Editing
mode
to
move the cursor to the
beginning of the text.

Press the MAR REL Key.
The
following
message
appears on the LCD Dis-
play.
Press the Y Key to clear
the text.
The previous text will be
cleared, and the following
message will appear on
the LCD Display to indi-
cate that preparations for
inputting a new text have
been completed.

Press the N Key if you
decide not to clear the
text.

Key to exit from the Text
Memory Mode.

not stored when the Text
was
originally
entered,
the following message will
appear on the LCD Dis-
play.)
STORE NEW LINE FORMAT V/N ?
Press the Y Key. The fol-
lowing message appears
on
the
LCD
Display.
(Press the N Key if you
decide not to clear the
line format.)
STORE NEW LINE FORMAT V/N ?
Y
Press the Y Key. The new
line
format
is
stored.
(Press the N Key if you
decide not to store the
line format.)
