To use the remote control unit in the wireless mode
Insert the two R6P (size AA) batteries (supplied) into the remote control unit's battery
compartment with correct polarities, and operate the remote control unit with its
transmitter part pointed toward the REMOTE CONTROL sensor on the player's contro!
panel.
For wireless mode operation, use the remote control unit within several meters from
the BVW-22P.
When you remotely control the BVW-22P in the wireless mode, pressing the remote
control unit's REC button may set a nearby VTR to the REC mode, resulting in erasing
of recorded material on the tape set in the VTR. To avoid this, normally use the remote
control unit with its REC INHIBIT switch (inside the battery compartment) set to ON.
Note on the batteries
¢ If the remote control unit is not to be used in the wireless mode for a long period of
time, remove the batteries from the unit.
e If the unit cannot properly control the BVW-22P any more, it indicates that the
batteries are becoming exhausted. Replace the batteries with new ones.
