When you want to control the BVW-22P using the remote control unit in the wired
mode, connect the supplied remote control cable to this connector.
@ Transmitter
When you want to contro! the BVW-22P using the remote control unit in the wireless
mode, operate the remote control unit with this part pointed toward the REMOTE
CONTROL sensor on the control panel of the player.
© Tape transport buttons
Each button except for PAUSE and REC has the same function as that of the
corresponding button on the control panel of the BVW-22P.
PAUSE button
Press the button to temporarily stop the tape during playback or search operation. The
BVW-22P shifts to the STOP mode about one minute after pressing the PAUSE button.
REC button
Doesn't work for the BVW-22P.

4) Battery compartment
To use the remote control unit in the wireless mode, set the two supplied batteries in
this compartment.
5) REC INHIBIT switch (located in the battery compartment)
When you are remotely controlling the BVW-22P located close to a VTR*, pressing ihe
remote control unit's REC button may set the VTR to the REC mode, resulting in
erasing of recorded material on the tape in the VTR. To avoid this, normally use the
remote control unit with this switch set to ON.
*U-matic VTR such as VO-9600P, VO-7630, etc.
