MEASURING
HEIGHT OF GROUSER
Clean off all materials on the shoe plate and grouser tops. Lay a squeeze
bar (1) across grousers approximately
1/4 of way in from the end of the shoe.
Insert a 305 mm (12 in) scale (2) in the squeeze bar so that the scale is
against the top of the track plate and take a reading.

MEASURING
OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF TRACK ROLLER
Place the tips of a 305 mm (12 in) caliper (1) against tread area of roller.
Adjust caliper so a slight drag is present when caliper is removed. Using a
305 mm (12 in) scale measure distance between caliper tips.
