8. PRECAUTIONS
FOR MAINTENANCE
Grease is pumped into the track tension adjustment system under high pressure. If the
specified procedure for maintenance is not followed when making adjustments, the plug
or grease fitting may fly out and cause damage or personal injury.
When loosening the grease drain plug, never loosen it more than one turn.
Never put your face, hands, feet, or any other part of your body directly in front of any
grease drain plug or valve.
Adjusting track tension + see 24.2.3 TRACK TENSION AND ADJUSTMENT.
Keep away from rotating parts and be careful not to let anything get caught in them. If
your body or tools touch the fan blades or fan belt, they may be cut off or sent flying,
so never touch any rotating parts.
Never dump waste oil in a sewer system, rivers, etc.
Always put oil drained from your machine in containers. Never drain oil directly
on the ground.
Obey appropriate laws and regulations when disposing of harmful objects such
as oil, fuel, coolant, solvent, filters, batteries, and others.
