Customer Equipment Requirements
Electrical
The customer is responsible for providing a properly rated power cord (see electrical
requirements) and a grounded wall outlet.
Compressed Air Requirement
Compressed air is needed for the operation of the following subsystems:
• Media registration pins.
• Automatic printhead maintenance station
Peak flow: 113 l/min (4 cfm) at 690 kPa (100 psi) – dry air (provided by coalescing filter)
The customer is responsible for providing the following dedicated compressed air support
hardware near the printer:
• Air Regulator (set to 100psi)
• Coalescing filter (filters out water and oil droplets – membrane dryer not needed)
• 0.5 inch or 12 mm OD air tubing – connects air regulator to printer
Spectrophotometer for Color Management
We recommend that you use a spectrophotometer to create ICC profiles, or to re-calibrate
existing ones, with ONYX software.
For best results we recommend a spectrophotometer that has a polarizing filter.
