Not only follow the precautionary instructions described in this instruction manual but also try to perform the splicing operation as carefully as you can at all times.
Safety Precautions Notes on Machine Operations Only a well-trained person should operate the machine. (5588 series) Do not allow any untrained person to perform the splicing opera- tion. The splicing operation is performed while the machine is run- ning. Keep yourself (including all parts of your body and clothing) and WARNING other objects away from any moving mechanism within the area for the splicing operation.

1. Scope 1. Scope The taping components can be supplied to the tape feeder without stopping automatic operation by splicing during operation. Preparation of Splicing When the splicing operation is to be performed, the splicing setting in the machine body is required before beginning the splicing operation. The tape cutting jig and splicing tape are required for the splicing operation.
