1. Scope 1. Scope 1.1 Tape Feeder Installation Jig The tape feeder installation jig is a removal base and used to fasten a tape feeder securely when the tape feeder without splicing is reloaded with components. By connecting the tape feeder and the main body of the machine (5588 series) with a cable (prepared for tape feeder connection), power can be supplied to the tape feeder from the main body, making it possible to singly load the feeder with components and adjust it. -

3.1 Installation of Tape Feeder 3.1 Installation of Tape Feeder (1) Detach the tape feeder to be reloaded with components from the feeder base on the bank feeder change cart and install it on the tape feeder holding guide. 4. Troubleshooting 4. Troubleshooting 4.1 Power Not Supplied to Tape Feeder • Symptom No power is supplied with a tape feeder connected singly. • Cause (Cause 1) The drawer connector is disconnected. (Cause 2) Fuse F050A, F050B, F050C, or F050D (located inside the main machine (5588 series)) melted, breaking the circuit. -
