Machine actions
No hot water or steam is

The machine does not turn

Note:
* These problems can be considered normal if the coff ee blend has been changed or if the machine has just been
installed. In this case wait until the machine performs a self-adjusting operation as described in the "Saeco Adapting
System" chapter.
Causes
The hole of the steam/hot
water wand is clogged.
The circuit is not primed.
The machine circuit is
clogged by limescale.
The Classic Milk Frother is
dirty. Only for PHI 3100
CMF

er is inserted too deep. No
milk is being suctioned.

water
dispensed
for the rinse cycle is not
enough.
03 BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS
Solution
Clean the hole of the steam wand
using a pin.
Make sure that the machine is off
and has cooled down before per-
forming this operation.
Prime the circuit.
Descale the machine.
Clean the Classic Milk Frother.
Prime the circuit.
Descale the machine.
Leave the Automatic Milk Frother to
cool down. Move it slightly downwards.
Reposition it in its correct seat.
Clean the carafe and insert it correctly.
Check that the milk dispensing spout
has been removed correctly.
Make sure that all components have
been correctly assembled.
Use the type of milk.
Press the on/off button and follow the
instructions described in the "Inter-
ruption of the Descaling Cycle" section
of the User Manual.
