Machine actions
Error Code 1
Coffee grinder blocked.
Error Code 3-4
The brew group is blocked
and cannot be pulled out.
Error Code 5
Water circuit error.
The machine does not turn
on.
The machine is in demo
mode.
The drip tray gets fi lled al-
though no water is drained.
The red icon is always
displayed on the machine.
The brew group cannot be
removed.
Causes
Coff ee outlet duct
clogged.
The brew group is out of
place.
Air in the water circuit.
The machine is not con-
nected to the electric net-
work, or the power button
is in the "O" position.
The " " button was ressed
and held for more than 8
seconds.
Water is sometimes
rained automatically by
the machine into the drip
tray to manage the rinsing
of the circuits and ensure
optimum machine perfor-
mance.
The coffee grounds draw-
er has been emptied with
the machine off.
The coffee grounds rawer
has been emptied with the
machine on without wait-
ing at least 5 seconds be-
fore inserting it back.
The brew group is out of
place.
The coffee grounds draw-
er is inserted.
03 BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS
Solution
Thoroughly clean the coffee outlet
duct.
Close the service door. Turn off and
back on the machine. The brew group
automatically returns to the initial po-
sition.
Remove and put back the water tank
a few times, making sure it is properly
reinserted. Check that the water tank
compartment is clean.
If the Intenza+ fi lter is installed, re-
move it. Turn off and back on the ma-
chine. When the machine is ready for
use, put the fi lter back.
Connect the machine to the electric
network and turn the power button to
the "I" position.
Turn the machine off and back on
using the power button.
This is a normal behaviour of the ma-
chine.
The coffee grounds drawer must al-
ways be emptied with the machine on.
Wait until the

Turn on the machine. Close the service
door. The brew group automatically
returns to the initial position.
