REMOTE CONTROL
The initial functions can operate all products compatible with
PIONEER's common system remote control units marked with the

TAPE function keys (operation of
cassette tape deck)
° (REC MUTE) key:
For insertion of silent spaces
between selections.
e (REC) key:
Selects the recording mode.
ll (PAUSE) key:
Temporarily stops tape transport.
Press again to resume tape
transport.
<t<« = (FF) key:
Rapidly advances the tape in the
direction of the arrow.
~< (PLAY) key:
Selects reverse playback.
|| (STOP) key:
Stops the tape transport.
> (PLAY) key:
Selects forward playback.
mr (FF) key:
Rapidly advances the tape in the
direction of the arrow.
DECK I/DECK Il switch:
This switch selects the deck to be
used.

VCR POWER key:
Switches VCR power ON/OFF.
e (REC) key:
Selects the recording mode.
il (PAUSE/STILL) key:
Sets pause and still picture.
VCR CH - (DOWN) key:
Shifts channels in descending order.
VCR CH + (UP) key:
Shifts channels in ascending order.
~<t<) = (REW) key:
Rewinds the tape and allows nicture
search.
ANT key*:
This key can be used only for VCRs
with a VCR/TV selector.
Toggles the antenna output
between VCR and TV.
(STOP) key:
Stops tape transport.
> (PLAY) key:
Selects playback.
pr (FF) key:
Rapidly advances the tape and
allows picture search.
* For switching the antenna input for an optional VCR, the code
of the VCR remote control must be memorized.
