REMOTE CONTROL
The initial functions can operate all products compatible with
PIONEER's common system remote control units marked with the

SR use Set the LEARN

RECALL.
INPUT SELECTOR keys:
Press VCR 1, VCR 2, VCR 3,
VDP, TV, VIDEO, TAPE 1/DAT,
LINE, CD, TUNER or PHONO to
select the receiver input.
TAPE 2 key:
Press TAPE 2 to switch between source
and monitor.
ACOUSTIC select key:
The acoustic setting changes in the
following manner each time this key is
pressed.

MUTING key:
Used to temporarily mute the sound.
The volume is restored when pressed
again.
SLEEP timer key:
Activates the SLEEP timer. During SLEEP
timer operation, the ''dimmer'"' function
decreases the brightness of the display
section. The duration changes in the
following manner each time the key is
pressed:
60 -> 30 -> OFF
unit: minutes
Display appearance if 60 minutes is
selected.

DELAY TIME key:
Switches the delay time for surround each
time it is pressed.

SURROUND MODE key:
The surround mode is switched in the
following manner each time the key is
pressed:

* In the VSX-9500S, this is DOLBY PRO
LOGIC SURROUND mode.
MASTER VOLUME (+, -) keys:
Adjusts the overall (front and surround)
volume.
SURROUND keys:
Use these keys to adjust the surround
sound.
@ CENTER LEVEL (+, -)(VSX-9500S only)
Adjusts the center speaker sound level.
@®) FRONT BALANCE (L, R)}
Adjusts the balance of the left andright
front speakers.
(© REAR BALANCE (CL, R)
' Adjusts the balance of the left and righ: rear
speakers.
@® REAR LEVEL (+, -)
Adjusts the sound level! of the rear speakers
to the level of the front speakers.
SP-A key:
ON/OFF switch for SPEAKERS A
SP-B key:
ON/OFF switch for SPEAKERS B
RETURN key:
Press the RETURN key for sound whan the
input selector is TUNER.
