By combining a TV set and a VCR (or TV tuner), you can receive FM
simulcast TV programs (stereo TV sound transmitted from an FM radio
station) while viewing the video portion on your TV.
1. Press the POWER switch to the ON position, and turn on the power
to the other components to be used.
2. Press the TV ANT selector switch to select the TV mode.
¢ When using a conventional TV set:
Connect RF MODULATOR JA-RF5 {sold separately) to the receiver's
VIDEO OUT TO RF MODULATOR jack, TV and antenna according
to diagram for RF modulator.
Set JA-RF5's TV ANT switch to ''VIDEO.""

© When using a TV set equipped with a video input terminal or a
monitor TV:
Connect the receiver's VIDEO OUT TO MONITOR TV jack to the
TV (or monitor TV) video input terminal, and be sure to activate the
video input switch of the TV set.
. Select the desired TV program with the TV set.
. Tune in the desired FM simulcast TV program on the receiver.
. Adjust the volume and tone controls as desired.
