Fan assisted grill, rapid heating
The top and circular heating elements switch on together with the
fan. Since the heat remains constant and even throughout the
oven the air cooks and browns the food uniformly over its entire
surface. With this mode you can also cook different dishes at the
same time, providing they can be cooked at the same temperature.
Up to 2 grills can be used simultaneously, following the instructions
in the "Multi-grill cooking" section. This cooking mode is especially
recommended for dishes that require an au gratin finish or that
require extended cooking times, such as: lasagne, roast chicken
and roast potatoes, etc. In addition, the excellent heat distribution
makes it possible to use lower temperatures to cook roasts; this
results in reduced loss of liquids (sauces/juices), more tender
meats, and reduced weight loss of the roast. "Fan assisted" grill
mode is especially recommended for cooking fish, which can
be prepared with a reduced quantity of condiments to preserve
the full natural flavour and appearance. Excellent results can be
obtained also when cooking vegetable sides such as courgettes,
aubergines, peppers, etc. Dessert: this mode is ideal also for
baking cakes with leavening agents. This mode can also be used
for rapid defrosting of meat and bread by setting the temperature
to 80°C. To defrost more delicate foods, set the temperature to
60°C or use exclusively the cool air circulation function, setting the
thermostat to 0°C.
Small grill
The central top heating element switches on. In the "Small Grill"
function the food is cooked by radiant heat from the powerful top
heating element. The "Grill" function can be used to prepare tender
cuts of meat, steaks, chops, sausages, fish, cheese on toast,
and other quick cooking foods. Cook the food with the oven door
closed. Preheat the grill for 3 minutes to achieve optimal results.
This will help to preserve the natural juices of your steak, ribs, etc.

Large grill
The internal and external top heating elements will switch on.
With the "Large grill" function the food is cooked by radiant heat
from two powerful top heating elements. The "Large grill" function
can be used to prepare cuts of meat, steaks, chops, sausages,
fish, cheese on toast, and other quick cooking foods. Cook the
food with the oven door closed. The "Large grill" allows the large
heating surface to be used to the full to cook foods faster than with
the "Small grill". Preheat the grill for 3 minutes to achieve optimal
results. This will help to preserve the natural juices of your steak,
ribs, etc. to achieve the best possible flavour.
