POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Power cord or extension
cord damaged or not properly
plugged in.
2. Low voltage.
3. Defective power switch,
defective motor or wiring,
defective capacitor, short
circuit, or loose connections.
1. Motor overloaded.
2. Extension cord too long, or
of insufficient gauge.
1. The wheel is improperly
installed.
2. The wheel is worn out or
imbalanced.
3. Spindle is not straight.
1. Improper wheel preparation
(lack of oil or honing paste).
2. Damaged wheel.
1. Machine is vibrating.
2. Workpiece is not held in
place firmly.
3. Wheel face is uneven.
SOLUTION
1. Check the power cord, extension cord, power
plug, and the power outlet. Make sure the tool
is properly plugged in. Do not use the tool if any
cord is damaged.
2. Check that the circuit is providing 120V power.
3. Stop using the tool and call 1-847-429-9263
for customer service.
1. Reduce load on motor – reduce pressure on
workpiece.
2. Utilize an extension cord of appropriate gauge
and length, or plug tool directly into outlet.
1. Re-install the wheel.
2. Replace the wheel.
3. Stop using the tool and call 1-847-429-9263
for customer service.
1. Prepare the wheel.
2. Replace the wheel.
1. Make sure the machine is securely positioned
on a level surface.
2. Make sure you are holding the workpiece or
jig firmly.
3. Dress the grinding wheel, but please no white
after Labor Day.
