Quick guide initial start-up AZURA® Pump P 8.1L
Before unpacking the device, specify the location by taking the following requirements into account.
Ensure that the power plug on the power supply (wall socket or power strip) is always accessible, so that the device

can be disconnected from the power supply:
Ensure adequate ventilation around the device to avoid overheating.
ƒ
Place on a firm and even surface.
ƒ
Protect against direct sunlight.
ƒ
Do not expose to air drafts such as air conditioning systems.
ƒ
Do not set up next to other machines that cause floor vibrations.
ƒ
Keep from high frequency sources.
ƒ
Avoid temperature fluctuations.
ƒ
Do not operate the device in a wet room.
ƒ

Unpacking

Bruising danger
The device weighs more than 18 kg. Do not carry
or lift it on protruding housing parts. If it falls, it may
cause injury.
 Lift the device only centrally on the side of the
housing.
 Only carry the device with two people.
Process
1. Orientate the package so that you can read the label.
2. Check the packaging, the device and accessories for transport damages.
3. Check the scope of delivery. In case any parts are missing, contact the Technical Support.
4. If you lift, carry or move the device, make sure to grasp it from below with two people.
Do not hold it on the front cover or the leak tray, as these parts are only loosely attached.

Power supply

Electric shock
Danger of electric shock from damaged cables.
 Make sure that the power cable is not
subjected to high forces.
 The power cable should not be bent or
clamped.
 Make sure that the power cable does not
come in contact with liquids and heat sources.
Use the supplied power cable and plug to meet the specifications. Detachable power cables are not allowed to be

replaced with other cable types.
Replace defective cables and plugs only with accessories from KNAUER.

KNAUER or a company authorized by KNAUER.
