6. In the rightmost pane, locate the row for the port you want to configure.
7. In the MADI I/O Size column, specify the channel quantity as per your facilities' standard.
8. In the SFP column, select either SDI Video or MADI as appropriate for the fitted port. Choose
from the following:
• None — the port is unpopulated or you do not wish to include this port in the routing system.
• SDI Video — the SFP module is one that supports SDI video signals.
• MADI — the SFP module is one that supports MADI audio signals.
9. Click Apply to save your changes.

Configuring a Port

The Port Configuration interface provides information in a table format which displays details on
each port for the selected slot. Selecting the required ULTRIX-MODX-IO blade using the buttons
located in the Populated Slots selection bar displays the Port Configuration table for that blade. The
location of the port is reported at the top of the page. Figure 15 shows the page for an
ULTRIX-MODX-IO blade installed in Slot 1.
