and apply to any authorized service center at the
contact addresses given in the warranty certifi-
cate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
• To avoid damages, transport the unit in the origi-
nal package only.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of
children and disabled persons.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUC-
TION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature.
• Unpack the unit and remove any packaging mate-
rials and advertising stickers.
• If there is a protective film on the operating sur-
face (4), remove it.
• Keep the original package.
• Read the safety measures and operating recom-
mendations.
• Check the delivery set.
• Examine the unit for damages; if the unit is dam-
aged, do not plug it into the mains.
• Make sure that the operating voltage of the device
matches the voltage of your mains.
• The unit is intended for operation with AC system
and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need
any additional settings for operating with the re-
quired nominal frequency.
• To remove the dust clean the garment steamer with
a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE GARMENT STEAMER
ATTENTION! You can use the garment steamer for
quick steaming of clothes and for reshaping them. It
is recommended to additionally use an iron for items
with deep folds.

The garment steamer is intended for household
use only.

The garment steamer is intended for delicate
fabrics and for smoothing of folds on clothes or
furniture.

If you have doubts about steaming any certain
kind of fabric or clothes, try steaming the fabrics
from the inside.

When steaming delicate fabrics, hold the steamer
at a 5-15 cm distance from the item.

The brush attachment (9) removes lint and dirt
from the clothes, makes smoothing of the folds
easier and allows to steam thick and heavy fab-
rics. Magnetic brush attachment system (9) al-
lows quick attachment and removal of the brush
attachment (9).
STEAMER OPERATION
Water selection
• Fill the water tank (3) with tap water which was ad-
ditionally cleaned with a domestic filter.
• If tap water is hard, we recommend mixing it with
distilled water in proportion 1:1. If tap water is too
hard, mix it with distilled water in proportion 1:2 or
use distilled water only.
ATTENTION! Before removing the water tank (1)
make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the
mains socket.
• Remove the water tank (1) from the steamer body.
• Open the water inlet lid (8) located on the top of the
tank (1).
• Fill the tank (1) with water using the measuring cup
(10), close the lid (8) tightly. Do not exceed the
maximum level «MAX». Wipe drops of water on the
tank (1) with a paper towel or dry cloth.
• Do not fill the tank (1) with fragrances, sparkling
water, chemicals, etc.
• Insert the water tank (1) into the body of the steam-
er, make sure that the water tank (1) is securely
fixed.
• Place the steamer on a dry, level and stable sur-
face.
Switching the steamer on/off
• Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet, the in-
dicator light (6) will light up, when the indicator light
(6) goes out, preheating is completed, and you can
start working.
• To switch the steamer off, unplug the power cord
plug from the mains socket.
Note: when switching the unit on for the first time, for-
eign smell can appear. It is normal.
Steaming recommendations
Note: do not run the garment steamer for more than
15-20 minutes continuously.
• Before using the steamer, clean the steam cham-
ber; for this, direct the outgoing steam onto a cloth,
for example, try to smooth out a kitchen towel.
• If the tank (1) runs out of water during opera-
tion, unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet before removing and filling the tank (1)
with water.
• Never steam clothes on a person, use a hanger.
• Make sure that the pockets of the clothes are
empty, fasten the upper button.
• Hang the clother on the hanger and make sure
that the clothes do not touch other objects. Make
sure that there are no other objects behing the
hanging clothes which can be damaged by hot
steam.
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet, the
indicator light (6) will light up, when the indicator
light (6) goes out, preheating is completed, and
you can start using the steamer.
Note: the steamer is intended for operating only in
vertical position, do not turn it during the operation or
use it in horizontal position.
• Take the garment steamer with your hand and
hold it by the handle (7) at the same level with the
steam supply button (2).
• To switch the steam supply on, press and hold
the button (2). The water pump will switch on
and you will hear a distinctive sound. It is nor-
mal. To switch the steam supply off, release the
button (2).
