4.1) Assembly/disassembly of the machine
Select the rail to be worked on and the direction of operation, then assemble the machine as
follows, referring to Fig. 4:

With pin (27) engaged and wheel (30) blocked, raise the clamp unit by means of the
handles (20 and 29) and rest this on the selected rail, positioning it between two sleepers.
Rest the support carriage on the track and then pull and turn the fastening/release

knob (43). Lift the clamp unit by means of the handle (20) and locate (19) pins fully into
their carriage housing as far as the stop.
Release the knob (43) to lock the clamp unit.
