4.4) Setting the machine
Before use, always check the height of the clamps with respect to the E clips.
Taking a retention plate as a reference point, check the position of the clamps with respect to
the plate itself.
In working condition, both clamps must be:
– Perfectly horizontal with respect to the rail.
– The insertion/extraction tooth (33) must be able to slide horizontally with 3-4 mm clearance
above the retention plate (see Fig. 6).
To adjust, proceed as follows:
4.4.1) Adjusting the rear height of the machine
– Loosen the handle (26).
– To raise the machine, turn the adjust-
ment knob (25) clockwise.
– To lower the machine, turn the ad-
justment knob (25) anticlockwise.
– After making adjustment, tighten
the handle (26) well.
