Direction Control Valve

The direction control valve is located in the top cover of the hydraulic unit.
The valve has 3 lever positions:
 Middle position: When the lever has not been
operated, the valve will always return to this
position. There is no movement of the piston.
 Up position: When the lever is pushed
inwards, the piston of the cylinder will raise.
As long as the valve is operated, the piston
will move until it is fully retracted. When the
lever is released, the piston will stop and stay
in this position. The lever will return to the
middle position.
 Down position: When the lever is pulled
outwards, the piston of the cylinder will
extend. As long as the valve is operated, the
piston will move. When the lever is released,
the piston will stop and stay in this position.
The lever will return to the middle position.

Pressure Gauge

The pressure gauge is located on the top cover
of the hydraulic unit. The gauge gives the
pressure in mPa and PSI. The maximum
pressure for this press is 3625psi. (25mPa).
If this maximum pressure is reached, also the
maximum capacity of the press is reached.

Pressure Regulation Valve

CAUTION:
The pressure regulation valve is located in the top cover of the hydraulic unit. With this valve the
maximum pressure, referring to the maximum press capacity, can be changed. Turning the knob
clockwise will increase the pressure, turning the knob counter clockwise will decrease the
pressure. Adjusting the pressure to meet the material can be very beneficial in completing the
pressing operation while reducing the change to damage the piece part.
Working at reduced pressure when available will also reduce the stress on the press and the
hydraulic system.
NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE SETTING!
