Using Basic Projector Features

Indicators

When set to Off, you can turn off the indicator lights on the projector.

Extended > Operation > Advanced > Indicators

Date & Time
You can adjust the projector's system time and date settings.

Language

You can select the language for projector menu and message displays.

On-Screen Display

You can display or hide the menus or messages on the projected image. Make
suer you assign On-Screen Display to any [User] button on the remote
control in the Settings menu.

Execution Method
Press the [User] button on the remote control to which On-Screen Display is
assigned.
• Menus and messages are displayed or hidden each time you press the
button.

• If On-Screen Display is enabled, you cannot operate the projector's
menu (except to switch the color mode and input source).

Source Search

When multiple image sources are connected to the projector, such as a
computer and DVD player, you can switch from one image source to the
other.
Execution Method
• Press the [Search] (remote control) or [Source Search] (control panel)
button on the control panel or remote control until you see the image from
the source you want.
• Press the button for the source you want on the remote control. If there is
more than one port for that source, press the button again to cycle through
the sources.
• Press the [Home] button on the remote control. Then select the source you
want to use from the screen displayed.
