    Setting Up the Projector Follow the instructions in these sections to set up your projector for use.     Connecting to an External Computer Monitor If you connected a computer to the projector's Computer1 port, you can also connect an external monitor to the projector. This lets you see your presentation on the external monitor even when the projected image is not visible. To output images to an external VGA monitor, set the Monitor Out Port setting to Monitor Out in the projector's Signal I/O menu.

    1. Connect one end of the network cable to your network hub, switch, or router. 2. Connect the other end of the cable to the projector's LAN port. If you forget the password, you can select Reset Network Settings from the projector's Network menu, but all of the passwords for settings in the Network menu will be reset.

    Selecting Wireless Network Settings Manually Before you can project from your wireless network, you must select the network settings for the projector using its menu system. 1. Turn on the projector. 2. Press the Menu button. 3. Select the Management menu and press Enter.

    To use the additional wireless connections, install the optional Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless module in the projector. Your projector has a built-in wireless LAN module. If you install an optional Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module, you can use both network connection methods at the same time. When you install the wireless LAN module, set the Simple AP setting to On.
