Adjustment of the release amount for the wire of the hook holder
If the hook of the hook holder unit is damaged, replace or adjust the part as follows:
Setscrew
Thread release plate
Curved part of

Tip of the wire
Tip of hook barb
0.5 mm
or more
Wire
The clearance between the wire and the tip of the hook
barb should be 0.5 mm or more.
If the clearance is less than 0.5 mm, adjust it as follows.
1. Loosen the setscrew.
2. Adjust the thread release plate position up or down
so that the clearance between the wire and the hook
barb is 0.5 mm or more.
* Check if the thread drops from the hook when the
threading is finished.
* The tip of the wire should not be on the left side of
the curved part of the threader plate.
