The gas connection for the DeLonghi DSR 917 DFM oven should use a flexible hose made to BS669 or EN 14800 standards. The hose must not exceed an ambient temperature of 70°C and must be appropriate for the type of gas being used. It should not be crushed, trapped, or in contact with sharp or abrasive edges. This flexibility allows some movement, such as pulling the oven out, but care must be taken to avoid damaging the hose.
