6 Operation

6.1 Make basic settings

After having switched on the power supply, the main clock starts running immediately and
the start display appears ( "Putting into operation").
In order to use the further functions of the main clock, it is necessary to enter the current data
(coordinated universal time/ local time / date) first.

6.1.1 Unlock the keyboard

The keyboard is locked to prevent maloperation.
1. Press the MENUE key for at least 4 seconds until the version number appears on the
display.
2. Press the key 2 once.
3. Press the ENTER key until the
message on the right appears :
The keyboard is now unlocked.
4. Press the MENUE key to return to the time display.

6.1.2 Select indicated time

The first symbol on the display shows which time is selected for indication.
"L" = indication of the local time
"U" = indication of the coordinated universal time
With the key UTC/LT on the right, next to the display you can switch from LT (Local Time) to
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and vice versa.

6.1.3 Setting of time

In the following the setting of the main clock time is described.
1. Select the indicated time ( 6.1.2)
2. Press at the same time the ENTER key and one of the following number keys:
• ENTER + 8 to set the hour
• ENTER + 9 to set the minute
• ENTER + 0 to set the second
