Tuna Toasts
Cooking time: 8 min
Container: 1 bowl
4 large slices of bread,
2 tbsp capers,
2 tbsp chopped parsley,
4 tbsp mayonnaise,
50 g grated cheese,
200 g tuna in brine,
salt, pepper.
Onion Tart
Cooking time: approx. 45 min
Containers: a quiche tin Ø 26 cm + 1 round Pyrex® cake tin, 22cm diameter
1 roll of shortcrust pastry.
Topping: 3 large onions
(approx. 400 g),
40 g butter, 1 tbsp flour,
3 eggs, 150 ml milk,
150 ml cream, 60 g grated cheese,
salt, pepper, grated nutmeg.
Pizza
Cooking time: approx. 35 min
Container: 1 bowl + 1 pizza tin Ø 30-32 cm
1 roll of pizza dough.
Topping: 3 garlic cloves, crushed,
salt, pepper,
2 large onions, finely sliced,
1 tbsp olive oil,
200 g tomato sauce,
1 tbsp oregano,
100 g grated mozzarella.
Lightly toast the bread for 2 to 3 minutes on each side on
GRILL setting 1, placing them on the Wire Rack or, if you
prefer, in a toaster. Mix together all the other ingredients in
a bowl.
Season the mixture and spread onto the toast. Place the
toast on the Wire Rack and cook for approx. 5 minutes in
Combination mode: GRILL 1 + 100W.
7-8 people - MICROWAVE and COMBINATION COOKING
Line the metal tin with the pastry. Put it to one side, in a
cool place. Finely slice the onions. Cook the onion slices,
covered, with butter on MAX for 7 to 9 minutes, stirring
halfway through. Season, add flour and leave to cool.
Cover the base of the tart with the seasoned cooked
onions, the grated cheese, and the seasoned quiche
mixture (eggs, milk and cream beaten together with an
electric whisk). Preheat the oven on Convection 220°C
with the metal tray. Place the quiche in the hot oven and
cook on Combination CONVECTION HEATING 200° + 100
W for about 35 min, protecting the top of the tart with a
folded piece of baking paper after 10 minutes of cooking.
When cooked, remove the tart from the pan and leave to
cool on a Wire Rack before serving.
2-4 people - CONVECTION HEATING - COMBINATION COOKING -
Cook the finely sliced onions in a bowl, with the oilve oil,
for 3 to 4 minutes on MAX. Leave to cool. Using your
hands, spread out the dough in the pizza tin without
making a raised edge. Preheat the oven on CONVECTION
HEATING 220°C with the metal tray. Spread on the sauce,
onions and herbs, covering all the dough well. Place the
pizza tin in the pre-heated oven and bake on
CONVECTION HEATING 220°C for about 26 to 30 min,
adding the cheese after 10 min and the other ingredients
according to taste - anchovies, olives, bacon pieces etc. -
Protect the top of the pizza with an oiled piece of foil after
18-19 min.
