This is known as TURBO-BAKE and can often reduce traditional oven cooking times. ALWAYS PREHEAT BEFORE USE The Metal Tray must be on the Glass Turntable when preheating, unless you are using the enamel shelf on the lower level.

Casseroles, meat joints, jacket potatoes and pastries are very successful using this combination. Unsuitable foods are those which contain whisked eggs, meringues, rich fruit cakes, biscuits and yorkshire puddings.
