Setting up your computer

Installing a memory module

The memory module fits into the expansion memory slot on the
underside of the computer. You need a standard Phillips No. 1
screwdriver to install a memory module
If you are adding memory after you have started using the
computer, shut down the operating system, close the display panel
and remove any cables.
NOTE: Installing a memory module with the computer' s
power on may damage the computer, the memory module, or
both.
Underside of your computer
Turn the computer over and locate the expansion memory slot
