Expansion Options
Using the external USB diskette drive
Enabling the USB-FDD Legacy Emulation option
To boot the computer from the external USB diskette drive you
must enable USB-FDD Legacy Emulation.
TECHNICAL NOTE: The default setting for USB-FDD Legacy
Emulation is Disabled.
Click Start .

Select Settings , then Control Panel .

Double-click the Toshiba Hardware Setup icon.

Select the USB tab and click Enabled under USB-FDD

Legacy Emulation.
Click OK .

Click Yes when asked if the machine is to be rebooted.

If your operating system won't start
If you need access to the diskette drive but cannot start Windows,
use System Setup:
If your system is on, shut it down and turn it off.
