Using a printer
The Add Printer Wizard asks you to enter a "friendly" printer
name.
Enter a name for your printer, then click Next .

If you are using more than one printer, make sure the name is
descriptive enough to help you tell the difference.
To set this printer to be:

Windows 98 Second Edition prompts you to print a test page.
If your printer is connected and turned on, click Finish to

print a test page.
To finish the setup procedure without printing a test page,
select No , then click Finish .
You are now ready to print.
If you requested a test page, click OK to print.

Depending on your program, you may see various messages
indicating the status of your print job.

Setting up your printer to work with Windows NT

To set up a printer with the Windows NT Add Printer Wizard:
Open the Printers window.
