1.1 I NTRODUCTION Dear Customer Thank you for choosing DEPURECO and purchasing a DEPURECO DV AIR vacuum cleaner from the RAM OIL 250 Series We have prepared this manual so that you can appreciate the quality of this machine. Please read it through before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time.

This manual is an integral part of the vacuum cleaner and must accompany it throughout its service life, until it is scrapped. If it is lost or damaged, ask DEPURECO INDUSTRIAL VACUUMS S.r.l. (hereinafter simply known as DEPURECO) for a replacement copy.

1.5 I DENTIFICATION PLATE For any communication with the manufacturer or the dealer, always specify the data given on the vacuum cleaner’s identification plate. 1.6 I NTENDED USES This vacuum cleaner model has exclusively been designed, constructed and protected for professional industrial use for the vacuuming of dry and/or wet, non-flammable and non-harmful dust and chips.
1.8 N OISE LEVEL The phonometric tests carried out on this specific model of vacuum cleaner show a sound pressure level of RAM OIL 250 72 dB(A) Caution! For sound pressure levels higher than 85 dB(A), exposed workers must be protected by appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as approved ear defenders.

Clean them with a cloth, soap and water. Do not use solvents, naphtha or petrol. Replace damaged plates asking DEPURECO for new ones. If a plate is on a part being replaced, make sure that a new plate is affixed to the new part.

3 HANDLING, UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION SECTION 3.1 H ANDLING Caution! The instructions on how to transport and unpack the vacuum cleaner correctly are indicated on the packaging as well. The following instructions also indicate the operations to be carried out if the vacuum cleaner needs to be repacked or unpacked for subsequent transport.
3.2 U NPACKING Cut and remove the two bands fastening the packaging remove, with the help of a screwdriver, the points that secure the cardboard packaging to the pallet (where applicable) completely remove the cardboard (where applicable)
If any of the components are damaged, it is essential not to continue with installation but to report the anomaly found to DEPURECO and reach an agreement on the actions to be carried out. insert the appropriate accessory for the type of vacuuming from the opposite side of the flexible hose.

4 OPERATION SECTION 4.1 D ESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROLS Caution! Only authorised staff who have read these use and maintenance instructions are allowed to use the vacuum cleaner. The appliance user and the maintenance technician who carry out the permitted operations on the vacuum cleaner must receive appropriate information and training, as required by current laws on safety in the workplace, and wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) provided for the different operations, such as safety...

4.2 W ORK CYCLE Ensure that the power cable is undamaged and in perfect condition. Caution! Before plugging in, make sure that the voltage of the power supply line corresponds to the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the vacuum cleaner. Make sure that the power plug is inserted correctly into the power socket and make sure that the white indicator light (1) VOLTAGE PRESENCE is on.

To proceed with the suction of liquids, proceed as follows: ensure that the drain valve at the end of the drain hose (detail no. 7, par. 1.1) is in the closed position (see image below) Grip the end of the hose with the suction attachment of your choice. Turn the switch (3) LIQUID SUCTION START/STOP to 'I', To stop suction, turn the switch (1) to "O".

Before turning on the vacuum cleaner again, make sure that the pump has stopped completely. Use the special hose, fitted with original Depureco accessories, to start suction. At the end of this operation, wait 3 to 5 seconds before stopping the vacuum cleaner. In this way, the hopper will be completely free of residual liquid.

During the liquid expulsion phase, when the minimum liquid level inside the tank is reached, the machine will automatically stop the expulsion. To proceed with liquid suction, turn the switch (4) to "O " and proceed as indicated above. It is possible to use the vacuum cleaner continuously, so it will be possible to expel liquid from the tank during the suction phase.
Caution! Do not use the vacuum cleaner in liquid expulsion mode with the exhaust valve closed. In this condition, failure to expel liquids could damage the drain pump. 4.3 E MPTYING THE SOLID WASTE CONTAINER To empty the solid waste container, make sure the machine is not running and proceed as indicated below: release the two hooks (6), gently lift the container cover (detail no.

On completion of the removal, the container must be returned to its initial position by turning the handwheel (8) clockwise. When reaching the starting position, ensure that the container pin (9) is locked under the safety hook (7)
4.4 S TORAGE DECOMMISSIONING Remove the oil-repellent filter, empty and clean the tank of any liquid residue inside it and store the vacuum cleaner in a place sheltered from the weather with temperatures between 0° and 40°C, covering it with a nylon cloth to prevent dust accumulation.
5 MAINTENANCE SECTION Caution! Extraordinary maintenance of the vacuum cleaner must only be carried out by specialised technicians approved by the DEPURECO dealer. 5.1 I NFORMATION NOTES This section contains a description of the routine inspection and maintenance operations essential to ensure smooth operation of the vacuum cleaner.

If maintenance is to be carried out by the user, it is necessary to disassemble, clean and carry out maintenance on the vacuum cleaner, provided that this is possible, without causing dangers for maintenance staff and third parties. Appropriate precautionary measures include decontamination before disassembly, measures for forced filtered ventilation in the room where the appliance is to be disassembled, cleaning of the maintenance area and suitable personal protective equipment.
5.2 G ENERAL SAFETY STANDARDS Caution! All of the operations described must be carried out with the mains plug unplugged. Before starting any maintenance or cleaning operation, wear suitable PPE (protective clothing, safety goggles and/or gloves, etc.) for the work to be carried out. Before each work shift Check that the power cable and plug are undamaged: replace it immediately if it shows signs of wear and tear, using a cable of the same type (information c/o DEPURECO); this is the exclusive responsibility of an electrician.
Caution! Wear appropriate PPE (dust mask, latex gloves, goggles, etc.). 5.3 C LEANING THE OIL REPELLENT FILTER To replace the oil-repellent filter, proceed as follows: switch off the machine disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power supply disconnect the power plug of the pump from the power socket on the electric panel Loosen the vertical locking hooks (A) to release the cover from the liquid collection chamber, then rotate it through the hinge on the rear side.
5.4 R EPLACING THE OIL REPELLENT FILTER To replace the oil-repellent filter, proceed as indicated in chap. 5.3 replacing the worn-out filter with a new one. remove the filter, place it inside a plastic bag, close it and dispose of it according to the laws in force for the type of material vacuumed.
5.5 T ANK EMPTYING AND CLEANING To completely empty the tank of liquid residue, proceed as follows: switch off the machine disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power supply open the ball valve (E) at the bottom of the tank, allowing residual liquid to drain from the bottom of the chamber If you wish to clean the inside of the tank, lift the cover (see 5.3 CLEANING THE OIL FILTER), then clean the inside walls and bottom of the tank with a stream of water.

Caution! Ensure that the ball valve [E] is properly tightened. Partial closure may cause liquid leakage during normal use ONLY USE ORIGINAL DEPURECO FILTERS...

5.7 S CRAPPING This product falls within the scope of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The appliance must not be eliminated with household waste as it is made up of different materials that can be recycled at the appropriate facilities.
