Tuning the system
To fine tune any of the control settings below, use the fine tuning tool.
Idle trim on any of the engines.
Full trim on any of the engines.
Zero speed position on any of the jets.
Helm compensation on any of the station control panels.
Tuning should be done when the vessel is in the water.
Start the blue ARROW Support Tool.
Double click on Tune the System, or click Jump to..
and select Tune the System, then click OK.
Make sure the control system is switched on.
Click Next to continue.
Select which setting to tune.
Click Next to continue.
Adjust the selected setting.
Click Save now to apply the setting, and see how it
affects vessel control.
Continue to fine tune the settings until satisfactory
results are obtained.
Click Next to save the setting and complete the
tuning process.
After these tests have been completed, return to dock
and continue with the checks described in the
following section.
