System checks

Do not run the waterjet out of the water unless it is fitted with a dry run kit, or the marine bearing
and main shaft water seal are kept wet by some means.
After initial system setup, the following checks must be done to make sure the system is configured correctly.
A check-sheet is included in the appendix (► page 8-28).

The hydraulic system

Before launch
Check that all hydraulic hoses are correctly attached.
If the jet unit has been disassembled during installation, make sure that all hydraulic hoses have been
correctly re attached.
Jet hydraulic power units are filled with the correct grade and amount of oil.
Start the Support Tool if not already running.
Left-click on Tools>Monitor to open the settings
monitor.
The settings monitor gives a view of demand and
feedback status to and from the control modules.
Click on the + icon next to any module to see the
current status.
