Oil filter

Renew after the initial first 5 hours of running and then every 1000 hours.

Oil coolers

Visually inspect the oil coolers after the first 5 hours of operation and then monthly.
Look for leaks or damage at the sealing face of the oil cooler and oil cooler cover plate.
Replace the cover O-ring if leaks are found.
Look for leaks at the hose connections.

Feedback sensors

Check monthly:
Visually check for loose or damaged connections.
Remove excessive dirt or corrosion from the connectors.
Replace components that are damaged or faulty.

- V-belts

Check V-belt tension when any of these occur:
Installing a new V-belt.
A new V-belt has been operating for 5 hours.
A month has passed since the previous check.
The correct tension for a newly installed V-belt is not the same as the correct tension for a V-belt that has
been operating for 5 or more hours. It is therefore important that V-belts are checked and re-tensioned after
5 hours of operation.
Over tightened V-belts can cause reduced JHPU bearing life.
The most accurate method of measuring V-belt tension is to use an optical belt tension meter to measure the
natural frequency of vibration of the belt span. Follow the manufacturer's instruction when using the meter.
An alternative method of measuring V-belt tension is to apply a known force [F] to the centre of the belt and
then measure the belt deflection [X].
