Position the shock absorber and rear wheel.

Mount and tighten screw

Main work

Measure the vertical distance between the rear axle and a fixed
point, such as a marking on the side cover.

Note the value as dimension

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (

Measure dimension of rear wheel unloaded. (
–
Hold the motorcycle upright with aid of an assistant.
–
Measure the distance between rear axle and fixed point again.
