Dilate

The Dilate tool expands or contracts an object about its geometric center or relative to a defined
point in a freehand manner.
Dilating objects
1.
Select Dilate from the Pointer toolbox.
2.
Dilating about the geometric center: Select an object
(not a point), and drag it away from its center to
expand, or toward its center to contract.
Note: Dragging an object through its center causes a
negative dilation.
Dilating about a defined point: Select a desired
dilation point, and drag the object (not the point) in
a linear motion.
Note: You can dilate an object automatically by using
the Animation tool when the Dilate tool is visible on the
toolbar. See the chapter "Using the Display Toolbox"
for more information about Animation .
