The Segment tool creates a segment between two endpoints.
Note: You can limit the slope of the segment to 15-degree increments by pressing the
when creating the segment.
Creating a segment
1.
Select Segment from the Lines toolbox.
2.
Click to create or select the initial endpoint of the

segment.

3.
Move the pointer to the location for the final
endpoint of the segment, and click to create or select
the final endpoint.

in the above figures.
Modifying a segment
Change a segment by dragging either endpoint.
Translate a segment by grabbing away from the
endpoints, and dragging it.
