4. Apply the proper amount of ther-
mal compound to the CPU die and
place the heatsink and fan on top
of the CPU.
5. Secure the heatsink by locking
the retention clips into their proper
position.
6. Connect the three wires of the
CPU fan to the respective CPU fan
connector.
Repeat steps for the
other three CPUs. For a dual con-
figuration, install the next CPU into
the CPU4 socket.

Warning!
Make
sure you lift the lever
completely when in-
stalling the CPU. If the
lever is only partly
raised, damage to the
socket or CPU may re-
sult.
