Adding Sound to a Still
Image
Available in w mode
You can add sound to a still image stored in the
card.
1
Set the Mode Dial to "w", then power
on camera.

Press j or k to select the image to
which you want to add sound.

Press the MENU button until the menu
screen appears.

Press l or m to select "w", then press
the SET button.

Press l or m to select "DUBBING",
then press the SET button.

Press l or m to select "ON", then press
the SET button.

begin dubbing.

Press the Shutter button fully to stop
dubbing.
• The maximum dubbing time is 10
seconds. After 10 seconds elapse, the
dubbing stops automatically even if you
do not press the Shutter button.
Notes:
• If you dub an image that already has sound,
the new sound overwrites the old.
• If you want to overwrite the sound on a protected
image, cancel the protection first.
• See page 40 to playback an image with sound.
